Dorothy M. Wallace COPE Center offers five CTE Programs: Design, Early Childhood, Culinary, and Business.

The academy program provides smaller learning communities and provides varying opportunities for students to earn certifications in order to seek a job in a field or further their training upon graduation.

The academy framework is connected to interested employers in the community who provide invaluable support, including serving as advisory board members, guest speakers, field trip hosts, mentors, and internship hosts. Ideally, students will work in an industry that will provide real-world experiences that prepare graduates for the workforce.

Career academies subset students and teachers who work together for a two-three, or four-year span. Students enter the academy through a voluntary process when they register. Each student must apply and be accepted with parental knowledge and support. Our unique career academies are specialized in a small setting with a college-prep curriculum, career team, and strong partnerships with employers, the community, and higher education.
